What can you expect?
The aim of a homeopathic treatment is to understand why you have these health problems at this time, to unravel the different strands in your unique situation and to find the remedy that will create a steady and continuing improvement of your health.
During the 1st consultation the homeopath endeavours to build up a well rounded picture of you as an individual – time is taken to understand the complaint in context of each person.
Initially the condition you would like to be treated will be discussed. A detailed case history is taken to gain an understanding of the character and nature of the complaint and your general state of health. Questions are asked about your life style, your emotional state, likes and dislikes, general characteristics (e.g. food preferences, sleeping pattern), current prescribed medication, family history and vaccinations. Anything that you can tell me that is unique and individual to you as well as any results from medical examinations will help the process.
I have prepared a registration form to make that a bit easier. Please fill it in at home and bring it to the first appointment.

After the consultation I will evaluate all the information to decide on a treatment plan and a homeopathic remedy.
After you have taken the remedy it is of utmost importance to observe all changes – about the presenting complaint, but also on a more general level like energy, sleep - to be able to report it back at the follow up consultation. These changes are the body’s way of letting us know what the next step needs to be regarding treatment.
My aim is to form a partnership with my clients and restoring their health is my utmost priority at all times.
The length of treatment depends on the individual circumstances, history and duration of the problem. Normally I recommend that people have a course of 3 months of treatment, at the end of which I shall provide an evaluation and prognosis for future treatment if necessary.
